To guest lecturers:
Taiwan is a truly diverse country that attracts internationals from all around the world to work, study and live in. Such diversity should be celebrated and shared. The World In Your Classroom.tw offers internationals an opportunity to share knowledge and their culture, traditions and current affairs to high school students aged from 12 to 18 (mostly in Taipei and Taoyuan). If you are interested in education, cultural sharing and volunteering, sign up now to give a presentation about your home country.
As a volunteer guest lecturer, you will share aspects of culture, geography and/or economy of your home country. If suitable you may also have the opportunity to include impressions of living in Taiwan as an international. These lectures will usually be conducted in English; however, guest lecturers are more than welcome to introduce their own languages to Taiwanese students.
Prior to your presentation, you will receive an orientation by us together with other internationals. Also, it will be mandatory to have at least 1-2 video calls with the host teacher(s) to discuss what you can do in the class.
If you have an interest in this project and feel like to get a closer look at education environment in Taiwan, please do not hesitate to sign up now!
